FROM TIMES WIRE SERVICES
LONDON — Bruce Davis, an offensive tackle who had been released by the Houston Oilers, joined the Los Angeles Raiders today after signing a contract.
Davis, who originally was a Raider, arrived early this morning in London, where the team is practicing before its exhibition opener Sunday against the New Orleans Saints.
Team spokesman Al LoCasale said Davis fills the roster spot of John Layfield, who was waived before the team left for England.
