Man Slain Sitting in Parked Car

A 25-year-old Woodland Hills man was shot to death in Van Nuys on Tuesday afternoon as he sat in his car talking to a friend, Los Angeles police reported.
Robert R. Hagen was shot several times by two gunmen who approached his white Mercedes, which was parked in the 14500 block of Calvert Street, and opened fire on the occupants, said Det. Jim Vojtecky.
Hagen’s passenger, whose name was not released, was not injured, Vojtecky said.
The two men fled in a tan sedan, witnesses said.
