May I take the other tack, please? I am the child victim. When I was 14, my 39-year-old father left me and my beautiful 37-year-old mother for a 22-year-old bimbo. It never occurred to me that he wouldn’t be there for me in my growing-up years. I used to fantasize that the bimbo would somehow die and my dad would come home to us. Today I am 64 years old, but the pain and agony of the last 50 years still pierce my heart. I cannot help but feel that Betty Broderick did what she had to do.

I, too, would kill for my kids.
