Tandon Corp.: The Moorpark-based company reported second-quarter net income of $6.3 million, contrasted with a loss of $2 million in the 1989 quarter. The personal computer company said revenue was $96.8 million, down 1%. The firm said its gross margins improved because of the strong demand for its high-end systems based on the Intel 80386 and Intel 80486 microprocessors.
