$150-Million Suit Filed Over Antidepressant: A Long Island, N.Y., woman filed a $150-million suit against Eli Lilly & Co., charging that its touted antidepressant, Prozac, drove her to attempt suicide. The suit accuses Lilly of “failure to properly test Prozac before marketing it.” An article in February’s American Journal of Psychiatry cited six cases of people developing suicidal thoughts while taking Prozac.
