Eric Bieniemy, University of Colorado tailback, has been charged with three misdemeanor counts after a skirmish at his parent’s home in Aurora, Colo., during a July 4 party.

The incident marks the second time during Bieniemy’s three-year football career at Colorado that he has run afoul of the law. In March of 1988, he pleaded guilty to assault charges in Boulder, Colo., after a fight at a bar.

The latest incident resulted in misdemeanor charges of harassment, giving false information and interfering with fire personnel after a small fire broke out.
