Thief Takes Cash From Savings & Loan

CYPRESS — A man escaped with an undetermined amount of cash Monday after walking into a branch of Century Federal Savings & Loan Assn. and handing a teller a note demanding money, police said.
The man, described only as 50 to 60 years old, grabbed the money and fled the building at 10081 Valley View St.
He was last seen getting into a silver or beige two-door sedan, police said.
