NATION IN BRIEF : MARYLAND : Avoid Complacency, Quayle Tells Middies

The “world is still a dangerous place†and you should not be lulled into complacency by world changes, Vice President Dan Quayle admonished U.S. Naval Academy graduates at Annapolis. Quayle praised the 890 Navy ensigns and 90 Marine lieutenants being commissioned for their decision to spend at least four years in the service. “Each of you might have chosen a different, less difficult path,†Quayle said.
