Bicyclist and Tacos: Taco Bell rolled out a $12-million television and radio advertising campaign Wednesday that could solidify Greg LeMond as the first bicycle racer ever to strike a chord of recognition as an American celebrity.
The Nevada native who won the Tour de France last year will be the featured celebrity of the Irvine-based fast-food chain’s “Tacos to Go†campaign. He will be seen in his first national TV commercial wheeling into Taco Bell for a six-pack of tacos to feed friends at a party.
