A Book for Bookings: So you’re ready to produce your performance, theater or dance piece but all the theaters are either too large, too small, or too expensive? The Los Angeles Festival’s Open Festival and the Santa Monica-based Community Arts Resources Inc. have published the county’s first venue guide. The $5 guide, which will be given free to the more than 1,100 artists who expressed an interest in participating in September’s Open Festival, lists more than 450 spaces, ranging from community centers to the Hollywood Bowl.
