CYPRESS : Kovic to Speak at Loyalty Day Event

Anti-Vietnam War activist Ron Kovic will be the featured speaker at the Loyalty Day program today at the Cypress Civic Center.
All Orange County posts of the Veterans of Foreign Wars will be participating in the program.
Kovic, whose life story was told in the book and movie “Born on the Fourth of July,” will speak at 11 a.m. at the Civic Center, 5275 Orange Ave. The event is being sponsored by the city and the veterans organization.
