Carolco Sells TV Rights: Carolco Pictures, maker of the popular Rambo movies, said it has sold West German and French television rights to a package of feature films for more than $50 million. The West German agreement with Hermes Synchron calls for 34 films from Carolco’s library to be broadcast in West Germany, East Germany, Austria and other German-speaking territories. The French deal, signed with Aries SA, also involves 34 films to be broadcast on French commercial and pay TV.
