Chavez, Villa to Fight in Irvine Tonight

IRVINE — Ernie Chavez of Westminster will meet Juan Alonzo Villa of Mexico City in a 10-round welterweight boxing match at 7:30 tonight at the Irvine Marriott Hotel. Chavez is 9-0, Villa is 33-10.
Five other bouts are on the card, with the first match scheduled to start at 7:30 p.m.
