Censors Stifle Expression
I am deeply disturbed by the idea of censoring music. . . . Being a musician myself, I feel that music is a work of art and should not be altered. To censor the music of a band or singer is like taking a painter’s work and deciding to change a few things around.
The future is made by imagination and ideas.
As a member of tomorrow’s generation, I do not want to see musicians and artists afraid to express their feelings just because, as in the words of Orwell, “Big brother is watching.”
