Semco Instruments Says Net Income Rose Fivefold
- Share via
Semco Instruments Inc., a Valencia company that makes electronic recorders, sensors and other components for the aerospace industry, reported net income of $73,062 for the fourth quarter that ended Dec. 31, a fivefold gain from $13,673 in net income a year earlier. Revenues increased 17% to $1.1 million from $940,440.
The company attributed the earnings gain to increased market penetration and an upswing in the cyclic buying of its products by the military.
Semco earned $260,723 in 1989, more than 7 times the $35,254 it earned in 1988. Revenues rose 40% to $4.1 million from $2.9 million.
