P.M. BRIEFING : DHC Quarter Earnings Up 49%

MINNEAPOLIS — Dayton Hudson Corp. today reported record fourth-quarter earnings of $250 million, or $3.45 a share, up 49% from $182 million, or $2.31 a share, in the corresponding quarter of 1988.
Revenues for the quarter were $4.48 billion, up from $4.10 billion in last year’s fourth quarter.
