Dorothy Stuart, who is the administrator of the estate of her late son, Charles, testified before a Boston grand jury investigating her daughter-in-law’s killing but refused to waive the attorney-client privilege that prevents her son’s lawyer from talking about the case, her attorney said. Charles and Carol Stuart were shot Oct. 23 after they left a birthing class in Boston. Charles Stuart told police the attacker was a black gunman. But Stuart emerged as the prime suspect a day before he jumped to his death Jan. 4.
