CAMARILLO : $14,000 in Lumber Stolen From Site
About $14,000 worth of lumber was reported stolen from a Camarillo construction site, the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department said Tuesday.
The theft of the wood, which included plywood and two-by-fours, occurred at 4449 Verdugo Way, where Ruffco Framing of Ventura is building a motel, Sgt. Paul Oshlee said.
The theft was discovered Monday evening by workers, who called authorities. The Sheriff’s Department has no leads in the grand theft case, Oshlee said.
