WORLD IN BRIEF : SUDAN : Nomads, Farmers Clash; 69 Killed

Arab nomads and tribal farmers clashed last week in western Sudan in the latest outbreak of an ancient feud, killing 69 people and burning down 14 villages, the official Sudan news agency reported. Clashes between the Arabs and the Fur, a Muslim non-Arab farming tribe, have broken out periodically for hundreds of years.
