Rancho Santiago to Play American River at UCI

Rancho Santiago College will play American River in the quarterfinals of the community college men’s state basketball tournament Thursday at 7 p.m. at UC Irvine’s Bren Center.
Rancho Santiago (28-3) advanced with an 86-84 overtime victory over Glendale Saturday.
In the other quarterfinals at the Bren Center: Chabot (24-10) vs. Moorpark (24-10) at 3 p.m.; West Valley (29-2) vs. El Camino (23-10) at 5 p.m., and Imperial Valley (32-1) vs. Merced (22-10) at 9 p.m.
