East Germans Jacqueline Boerner and Gunda Kleeman won in the 1,500- and 5,000-meter races in the final day of the Women’s World Cup speed skating event at Inzell, West Germany.
Boerner dashed home over 1,500 meters in 2 minutes 10.10 seconds. Bonnie Blair of Champaign, Ill., was fourth in 2:10.58.
Kleeman proved fastest over the 5,000 meters, finishing in 7 minutes 54.27 seconds.
