BASKETBALL ROUNDUP : In other boys’ playoff games:

Division III

Lincoln 106, Clairemont 56--Lincoln, which jumped to a 51-25 halftime lead, outscored Clairemont in every quarter. Ken Garner scored 24 points and Andre Toussiant scored 16 points for second-seeded Lincoln (20-1-8). Alex Love led Clairemont (8-20) with 24 points.

Division IV

Imperial 69, Army-Navy 52--Brian Williams led Imperial with 22 points and 22 rebounds. Richie Bonillas also scored 22 points for second-seeded Imperial (16-7). Imperial led at halftime, 38-22.

In girls’ playoff games:

Division III

Lincoln 47, Kearny 44--Kearny led, 44-43, with 33 seconds remaining, but Lincoln rallied for the victory and will play Our Lady of Peace Thursday at Golden Hall. Sheila Dixon scored 20 points for Lincoln and Melissa Krause had 19 for Kearny.

Division IV

Holtville 47, Mountain Empire 28--Verronica Ibarra scored 13 points, Christene Ayon scored eight and Teresa Ibarra added seven points for top-seeded Holtville (17-9). Holtville led, 22-10, at halftime.

Division V

La Jolla Country Day 59, Calvin Christian 57 OT--Lisa Liguori made two free throws in the closing seconds to put LJCD into the finals against Christian Friday at Golden Hall. Liguori finished with 10 points. Carol VanderWoude added 17 for Calvin Christian.

Christian 62, Bishop’s 57--Tiffany Stutz scored 22 points and had 12 rebounds for Christian (13-10). Christian led by four at halftime but outscored Bishop’s, 18-8, in the third quarter to make the difference.
