Irvine Sensors Corp.: The Costa Mesa maker of infrared devices and computer electronics reported that its net loss dropped to $141,000 for the first fiscal quarter, from $194,000 incurred for the same period a year earlier. Revenue for the quarter ended Dec. 31 rose 32%, to $884,000 from $669,800. James Alexiou, president, said the improvements were largely derived from “sales to commercial manufacturers who are evaluating our technology.”
