SOUTHERN SECTION BASKETBALL PLAYOFFS : Los Alamitos Loses by 16 at Pasadena

Ray Maberry scored 27 points to lead Pasadena High School to a 71-55 victory over Los Alamitos Friday in a Southern Section 5-A second-round playoff game at Pasadena.
Senior center Robert Conlisk scored 33 points for Los Alamitos (20-7). He was the only Los Alamitos player in double figures.
The score was tied at the half, 28-28, but Pasadena (22-5) outscored Los Alamitos, 23-10, in the third quarter.
