Harvard Breaks 100 in Rout of Blair
Harvard High’s fast-break offense operated on all cylinders Friday night as the Saracens routed Blair, 109-78, in a Southern Section 3-A Division basketball playoff game.
The win at the Harvard gym pushed the Saracens’ winning streak to 15 games and moved Harvard into Tuesday’s quarterfinals.
Matt Clark scored 12 of his 25 points in the first quarter as the Saracens raced to a 33-17 lead. Harvard (22-2) increased its lead to 62-37 at halftime and 90-55 after three quarters.
Harvard senior guard Rick Osterloh led all scorers with 30 points and center Andres Carlo added 15.
For Blair (7-17), reserve Mike Gray scored 22 points and James King added 18.
