IBM Launches Products: IBM, taking aim at smaller business users, has unveiled three models of its Application System/400 mid-range computers and three new entry-level mainframe System/370 computers. The products underlined IBM’s belief that there will be strong growth in the middle range of computers. IBM Vice President Steve Schwartz said the company sees double-digit revenue growth in all major markets worldwide for IMB’s AS/400 mid-range computers in the first quarter.
