3 Airline Reservation Systems to Merge: Delta Air Lines, Trans World Airlines and Northwest Airlines announced that they would merge their computer reservation systems, after the Justice Department said it would not oppose the venture for antitrust reasons. Last June, a bid to join the computer reservations systems of American Airlines and Delta collapsed after the government said it would oppose it. Delta Air Lines Inc., NWA Inc. and Trans World Airlines Inc. said they have formed a computer reservation system company and would announce further details today.
