Crespi’s Hall Academically Ineligible

Rasaan Hall, Crespi High’s leading scorer, has been ruled academically ineligible and will not play for the remainder of the basketball season.
Hall, a junior, averaged 18 points a game despite requesting to come off the bench as a sixth man. The Celts (11-10, 5-2) are second in the Del Rey League standings behind Loyola.
“It really hurts us,” Crespi Coach Ed Marek said. “He was playing the best ball I’d ever seen him play. His attitude really picked up, too.
“We can’t expect any one guy to replace Rasaan--we don’t have anybody who can score like that.”
