Victor Petrenko of the Soviet Union won the men’s final, jumping flawlessly to a gold medal at the European Figure Skating Championships in Leningrad. Petr Barna of Czechoslovakia was second, and Viacheslav Zagorodniuk of the Soviet Union was third.
