PHILADELPHIA — Fans queued up by the thousands outside the Civic Center, and some spent the night waiting, for a chance to get tickets to the climactic fight scene in Sylvester Stallone’s “Rocky V.”
Within about an hour Thursday, people had grabbed up 16,000 of the 20,000 tickets for two days of filming in Stallone’s latest installment of the Rocky Balboa saga.
Ten thousand people are needed for a boxing match audience each day of filming, Feb. 8 and Feb. 9. Tickets went to people who had vouchers that were given out in stores, restaurants and other places.
