ORANGE ARCHES: The opening of Orange County’s first McDonald’s in March 22, 1957, on Harbor Boulevard in Garden Grove, didn’t attract nearly as much attention as the one this week in Moscow (A1). . . . The original owners, the Widdicombe family, still operates the outlet, one of more than 60 golden arches in the county today.
