Radio Deal Canceled: Westwood One Inc. of Culver City said it has ended talks to sell its 50% interest in New York radio station WNEW-AM to Command Communications and to buy San Diego station KJQY-FM from Command. In another development, Westwood One Chairman Norm Pattiz said he bought an additional 50,000 common shares of the company, raising his stake to 7% of the common shares. He also owns 95% of the firm’s Class B shares.
