The Big Ten censured Purdue Coach Gene Keady for remarks “unduly critical of conference basketball officials.”

The censure involved Purdue’s game last week against Indiana, which Purdue won, 81-79, in overtime. Keady drew a technical foul in the first half after disagreeing with some calls, then blasted officials in a postgame news conference.

Talking about a foul call, Keady said immediately after the game: “It was ridiculous. If you saw a foul, I’ll give you $1,000. The guy called something that wasn’t close to a foul.”
