GLIMPSES
The late Irving Berlin will be remembered at a memorial concert Feb. 6 at New York’s Music Box Theater. Those taking part in honoring Berlin, who died in September at age 101, include Mandy Patinkin, Roberta Flack, Tony Bennett, Rosemary Clooney, Jerome Robbins, Kitty Carlisle Hart, Dorothy Loudon and Sammy Cahn. . . . Yelena Bonner, wife of the late Soviet dissident Andrei D. Sakharov, will speak Feb. 17 at the Peace Prize Forum at Augsburg College in Minneapolis. Bonner and Sakharov were both scheduled to appear but he died days after accepting the invitation. The forum also will include former President Jimmy Carter and his vice president, Walter F. Mondale, who personally invited Sakharov and Bonner. Organizers are awaiting word on whether the 1989 Nobel Peace Prize winner, the Dalai Lama, will attend.
