Antelope Valley Guard Faces Surgery
Antelope Valley College point guard Dedan Thomas will undergo arthroscopic surgery on his left knee this week and will be out at least two weeks.
Thomas already has missed the past five games. He was suspended for all three games of the Desert tournament, reportedly for missing a practice, and then sat out Antelope Valley’s first two Foothill Conference games because of the injury. Thomas is averaging 12.6 points and 10.3 assists in 16 games.
