West Hollywood Mayor Abbe Land, upset over the proposed new 310 area code, deplores as “unacceptable” the fact that people will have to say, “Oh, this is west of La Cienega. I’ll have to dial another prefix.” Poor baby. Not only another prefix but a whole four more buttons to push.

Look, Mayor. You adjust, you adapt, life goes on. Surely you have far more serious problems to deal with. As do we all. We’ll adapt to 310 when the time comes. You, too.
