From Times Staff and Wire Reports
A federal judge in New York granted Saudi arms dealer Adnan Khashoggi permission to travel to Aspen, Colo., and Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., between next Wednesday and Jan. 17, but put him on “electronic bail.” That means he must wear at all times an electronic bracelet that allows authorities to monitor his movements. Khashoggi is free on $10-million bail on fraud charges growing out of the racketeering case against former Philippine First Lady Imelda Marcos. He plans to visit his children in Aspen and his sister in Florida.
