Former Raider quarterback Marc Wilson was named to make his first start of the year for the New England Patriots Sunday against Indianapolis.
Coach Raymond Berry announced that Wilson, 32, who signed as a free agent last Feb. 15 after sitting out all of last season, would be the fourth quarterback to start this season for the Patriots.
The Patriots dropped from NFL playoff contention when Tony Eason, Doug Flutie and Steve Grogan each faltered as starting quarterbacks.
