Congress Votes Itself a Hefty Pay Raise
Congress is already a well-paid group of people. Now they deem themselves eligible for a multi-percentage pay raise over a short period of time while military personnel will be limited to a 3-4% raise this year and maybe a little more or a little less in future years. Many service personnel, with families, who are asked to risk their lives, in training and in combat, remain eligible for welfare payments.
Certain parts of Congress persons’ anatomy are greatly enlarged.
