Cool and Cloudy Is Weekend Forecast
The storm hovering over Central California that has kept San Diego cloudy and cool this week is expected to arrive Saturday night, bringing with it a chance of rain, a National Weather Service forecaster said.
The rain should last through Sunday morning, forecaster Wally Cegiel said.
“We’re just getting the tail end of a storm from up north,†he said.
Meanwhile, the weather should remain cloudy and cool. Cegiel said there is a 30% chance of rain, but he is expecting only small amounts to fall.
Daytime temperatures for the beaches should stay around 63 to 67 degrees.
Highs for coastal regions will be 63 to 68 degrees, falling to 54 to 59 overnight. The inland valleys will reach 64 to 72 degrees and drop to 46 to 54.
The mountain regions will have highs from 56 to 64 today, 50 to 58 degrees Sunday, and lows of 34 to 42. The deserts should reach 72 to 80 today and 68 to 76 Sunday, with nighttime lows of 46 to 54.
