Alhambra 31, Burbank 6--Alhambra scored on its first two possessions and running back Russell Stanley ran for 139 yards and one touchdown to lead Alhambra at East Los Angeles College.
The Moors (5-5, 2-3) limited Burbank (1-8-1, 0-5) to 68 yards on the ground. Burbank quarterback Jason Chandler completed two of 12 passes for 26 yards, before he was ejected midway through the fourth quarter for fighting.
Alhambra assistant Coach John Zabala was ejected for unsportsmanlike conduct on the following play.
Stanley ran 39 yards for a touchdown to put the Moors ahead 14-0 at the end of the half.
Burbank’s only score came on a 68-yard kickoff return by Nelson Randin in the fourth quarter.
