El Camino Real d. University, 4-15, 15-4, 17-15, 15-12--Outside hitter Rachel Berger had 16 kills and Jennifer Dinaberg added nine as the Conquistadores (13-2) recovered from a 13-4 deficit in the third game of a 4-A quarterfinal match at El Camino Real.

Birmingham d. Grant, 15-12, 13-15, 15-4, 17-15--Sacha Klein had 17 kills and Jennifer Baldwin 14 kills for the Braves (16-2) in a 3-A quarterfinal match at Birmingham.

Louisville d. Alhambra, 15-7, 15-5, 15-6--Torie Sumner had 11 kills and Mary Hudson had seven as the top-seeded Royals (16-1) won a 4-A first-round match at Louisville.

Thousand Oaks d. Pasadena, 15-5, 15-1, 15-2--Amy Chellevold had 12 kills as the Lancers (16-1) combined for 11 aces in a 4-A first-round match at Thousand Oaks.

Royal d. Chaminade, 9-15, 15-3, 15-8, 15-2--Wende Brown had 17 kills, Alison Bantel had 10 kills and 21 service points for Royal (14-1) in a 4-A first-round match at Royal.

Antelope Valley d. South Pasadena, 15-10, 15-13, 15-9--Michelle Calger had 12 kills to lead Antelope Valley (15-6) in a 3-A first-round match at Antelope Valley.
