The “Gala Wine & Travel Auction” held at Le Meridien Hotel in Newport Beach on Friday raised an estimated $28,000 for the Orange County Mental Health Assn. Mr. and Mrs. Scott Reed were co-chairmen.
The “Mardi Gras” dinner-dance held at the Turnip Rose restaurant in Costa Mesa on Friday netted an estimated $20,000 for the Little Mermaids of Childrens Hospital of Orange County. Janet Jones was chairwoman.
The “We’re Taking Off” auction held at the Koll Center Irvine-North in Irvine on Friday raised an estimated $22,000 for the Irvine YMCA. Dr. Francis Bennie was chairman.
The “Best of the ‘80s” art auction and dinner held at the Laguna Art Museum in Laguna Beach on Saturday raised an estimated $53,000 for the Junior Council of the Laguna Art Museum. Cheryle Stemmler was chairwoman.
