A Donation From ‘Wanda’: MGM/UA Communications, the studio that released the Oscar-nominated “A Fish Called Wanda,†has donated $2,500 to the National Stuttering Project. The studio has been the target of protests from the organization of stutterers for the film’s alleged “cruel and demaning†portrayal of a stutterer, played by Michael Palin.
