Five bombs exploded in Colombia as drug-related violence escalated after the extradition to the United States of Jose Abello Silva, a purported cocaine kingpin. Four small bombs exploded Sunday night in Bogota at a day-care center, an apartment building, a cement factory and a bus parking lot, causing little damage. In Medellin, a more powerful bomb hit a radio station. In another suspected drug-related attack, gunmen on a motorcycle shot and wounded tow journalists in front of a television studio in Bogota.
