Church Leads Kennedy Past Los Amigos
GARDEN GROVE — Vince Church ran for three touchdowns to help Kennedy High School defeat Los Amigos, 28-12, at Garden Grove High School Friday night.
“It was just great blocking,†Church said. “I would look around and think I was stuck, and then somebody would block for me. I was open so I ran.â€
Kennedy (3-4, 3-2 in the Garden Grove League) scored early in the first quarter on a nine-yard run by Church.
Four minutes later, Kennedy’s Craig Roah intercepted a pass at the Los Amigos 47, and the Fighting Irish scored on Church’s one-yard run.
