COUNTY CANDY SCREENING
Again this year, some county hospitals will screen Halloween treats. Parents should accompany their children if they would like candy checked. While X-rays will show the presence of metal objects, they cannot detect glass, wood or chemical/toxic substances. Here is a countywide selection of hospitals that will provide screening:
