France will be the focus for the fifth annual Santa Barbara International Film Festival when it takes place March 2-11, it was announced Monday. The festival’s artistic director Phyllis de Picciotto calls it a “perfect match” because “there are so many Francophiles living in Santa Barbara.” In addition to the French section of the program, the festival will feature premieres of U.S. and international films, workshops and special evenings with celebrity film makers.
