Reprints are available of a special Times Orange County Edition earthquake report that appeared Oct. 12.
“The Big One,” published in the Orange County Life section, outlined what the county could expect if a 7.3-magnitude earthquake struck the Newport-Inglewood fault.
The report included:
- A graphic guide with tips on how to minimize earthquake damage in your home.
- What to put in an earthquake-preparedness kit and how to purify water.
- A map showing where the likely damage would extend and which freeways would be closed.
- Details of what life would be like three days after such an earthquake hit Orange County.
