When “Snoopy” and “Doonesbury” moved to the comic pages, that should have warned us of what was to come.
But when I received your version of the Orange County edition of “My Weekly Reader” in place of my Los Angeles Times, I was heartsick. What’s next? How about a coloring page so we can record all the details of the “Golden Girls” while we watch the boob tube?
When I was a child, I read as a child. I’m an adult now. Please, give me back my Los Angeles Times! Besides, if I really wanted more Orange County news briefs, I’d subscribe to the Register.
